Historic Cemetery
When the church was built in 1868-69, major subscribers were granted the right to choose sites for burial vaults. Nine such vaults and three mausoleums were built.

In the Hall Mausoleum are interred the parents of Eleanor Roosevelt. Chancellor Livingston is buried in the Clermont Livingston vault.

And in a plot south of the church are a monument to Frederick de Peyster and a large monument to General John Watts de Peyster.

An atmosphere of peace surrounds the cemetery.

The church's guarantee of perpetual care provides peace-of-mind to all families who choose St. Paul's cemetery as the final resting place for their loved ones.

Burial plots are still available to individuals wishing to be buried in our historic cemetery. For pricing and information, contact info@stpaulstivoli.org.
